滋賀県に世界を動かす人がきた(笑いヨガ考案者)
滋賀県のカタリアご夫妻のイベントに参加しました。I attended an event by Mr. and Mrs. Kataria from Shiga Prefecture.

カタリア医師は、世界130カ国に広がる笑いヨガ体操を考案しました。
Dr. Kataria developed the laughter yoga exercise, which has spread to 130 countries around the world.
カタリア医師が1995年にはじめた笑いヨガの活動は、
「笑いは最良の薬」と言われ、様々な国のメディアや話題でとりあげられます。

笑いヨガは、ただ笑いの健康効果が得られるだけではありません。
Laughter yoga does more than just provide the health benefits of laughter.
笑いの体操によって脳の中のホルモン変化によって、他者に対する攻撃性が，減少することが科学的にわかっています。
It has been scientifically shown that laughter exercises cause hormonal changes in the brain, which can reduce aggression towards others.
つまり笑いヨガは、平和な社会をつくる最適なツールです。
In other words, laughter yoga is the perfect tool for creating a peaceful society.
カタリア博士は、この「笑いによって世界を平和にする」という目的をもっています。
Dr. Kataria's goal is to "bring world peace through laughter.
